So, I'm leaving Vegas in a week. I've been here six or seven weeks and have thoroughly explored the town. From Red Rock Canyon, to Drai's Afterhours hipster joint, to the Pawn Stars Shop, to the Sin City Sinners, to Dave Navarro's new bar, to the Wayne Brady Show, to the World Series of Poker. Lots of Omaha Pot Limit at the Venetian and the Rio. Hard to find at first, but lots of wild action once the WSOP started. I played in the $2,500 Pot Limit Omaha WSOP event, and it was fun. And instructive. At least six or eight of the television poker stars were in the tourney, so that was kind of groovy, I suppose. I saw Greg Raymer, Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, TJ Cloutier, Chris Ferguson, and Sammy Farha. All the usual suspects. Mike Matusow was bitching behind me about how bad he was running. I placed about 200 of 600, so I didn't make the money but it wasn't an embarrassment either. I made a few moves. Heh.Corb Lund Announces his Tour Down Under!
